To preserve the beauty of your Kyoto Cabinet, we recommend the following care and maintenance guidelines:

Cleaning: Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately with a lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the finish.

Protection: Always use coasters, placemats, or felt pads to protect the surface from heat, moisture, and scratches. Avoid placing hot dishes or wet glasses directly onto the wood.

Environment: Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators, or air-conditioning vents, as extreme temperatures and humidity changes can cause the wood to expand, contract, or fade.

Spills: Wipe up any spills immediately to prevent staining or warping.

Flooring: Check the feet regularly and ensure felt pads are intact to prevent marking hard floors.

Safety: For added stability, especially in family homes, always install and use the supplied anti-topple kit.

All of our products are ordered on request. Because of this, if you change your mind within 14 days of receiving the order and wish to cancel, you will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Return Eligibility:

• Items must be returned in unused, resalable condition with original packaging.

• You must notify us of your intention to return within 14 calendar days of delivery.

• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Non-Returnable Items:

• Made-to-order or personalised products

• Clearance or sale items marked final sale

• Digital downloads and content (see below)

• Design services

How to Request a Return:

• Email us at Holly@modernahausstudio.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

• We’ll respond within 2 working days with return instructions.

• You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Damaged or Incorrect Items:

• Please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the issue.

• We will offer a replacement promptly.

Free standard delivery is included in the product price this excludes assembly or unpacking.

White glove delivery is available at an additional cost of £99.95.
